Hey Backers!
After tallying up the votes and comments, the character that received the most number was clearly:
Ethel Nell - High School Science teacher by day...and Moonshiner by night!
This makes a total of 8 moonshine characters for Moonshine Empire, which we are very excited about since each character has their own unique starting units and variable player power, and this changes the gameplay and strategy each time you play the game!
We kept many of the other ideas you all submitted, and don't be surprised if they show up as characters at Pappy's Tavern!
Be on the lookout for the Pledge Manager Surveys as we will start sending those out shortly,

Hello Backers!
Thank you again for helping make this campaign a success and for allowing us to make the best possible game. By backing and sharing this campaign we were able to unlock EVERY STRETCH GOAL. We have taken 2 weeks off to collect ourselves and organize all of our tasks to make sure we get this game out in a timely manner. Surveys will be going out shortly so you will be able to pick up extra copies of the game for friends to help save on shipping.
Soon we will be sending you a link to download the first reward, a high resolution poster image of Moonshine Empire! This reward was available to all backers and is actually where everything began. Camron Brown, our amazing artist, took our vision of the swamp and brought it to life with Pappy, the Gators, and a slew of moonshine characters ready to make and deliver some shine!
We have also taken everyone's ideas and suggestions and created the FAN MADE CHARACTER! It was a close race but the most suggestions went to a science teacher who uses her abilities to distill the perfect elixir! We will be sending over the new character artwork in a future update.
Thanks again for all that you have done and make sure to look out for the backer surveys next week!

Hey everyone, the campaign just ended, and we just wanted to send out a quick note to let you all know how thankful we are for each and every one of you! We plan to collect our thoughts over the next day or two, and will be back and ready to get to work on Moonshine Empire so that we can deliver the best darn Moonshine game ever! Also, we will be finalizing that 8th character, so stay tuned for that!
(but for now... we want to enjoy this moment with you... Thanks again everyone!)

Pappy just hollered "Last Call" from the tavern! Moonshine Crates were just unlocked!

Just as Pappy yelled "Last Call" at the tavern, you guys helped us unlock the Moonshine Jug Crates stretch goal! We were pretty excited about this one as having fun crates to put your delivered Moonshine Jugs in was something we really wanted in the game, but the cost of manufacturing them always seemed out of reach! So once again, we want to say "Thank-you" to all you wonderful backers!! You guys Rock!
We have two final Stretch Goals that again, we thought would not be possible, but due to your support, we are excited to see that we just might make it!! So tell yer friends, cousins, and maybe grandma that they all need some Moonshine!
